"I will vote for Judy Begay for Coconino County District 4 Supervisor on November 3. Judy offers a solid combination of hard work, commitment, and community knowledge to the position. Judy is also very familiar with and dedicated to, the more rural parts of District 4 where challenges and opportunities are sometimes overlooked. Judy Begay possesses a good sense of humor which is so important as we travel these difficult times. Please join me in welcoming Judy Begay as District 4 County Supervisor where the government is closest to the people it serves; and where solutions truly can be created." -Mandy Metzger, former Supervisor, District 4.
Yá'át'ééh, my name is Judy Begay. I am running for District 4 County Supervisor where I will take on the responsibility of representing us all. I will listen to you, learn from you, and work for you. Judy Begay is a Diné person of the Tódich’íi’nii (Bitterwater) clan and member of the Navajo Nation. A lifelong resident of the Coalmine Mesa area, she is a proud mother, grandmother, and rancher. She has a 46-year history of public service.
These experiences have prepared Judy to address critical Coconino County issues including education, health administration, affordable housing, and infrastructure development. Judy’s educational background provides a strong foundation for service as a Supervisor. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. As a Diné person who holds traditional values, she respects the earth (Nahasdzáán) and all life on it. She has the experience, perspective, knowledge, and wisdom to be an effective Supervisor. _________________

To encompass the entire district, we must consider things that apply countywide: infrastructure, water, broadband, health, and education. All the people of the district have needs and preferences on these issues. I will concentrate on:
I assume that we will all face great changes coming out of the Covid-19 epidemic. We may find less need for office buildings, and more residential infrastructure (broadband) for work at home. The residents of Doney Park have similar values to those of our neighbors on the Navajo Nation; we all cherish our land, our animals, and our close-to-nature lives. We value clean air and water.
